Located in Legends Museum at Cincinnati Gardens, the Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame was established in 2003. The annual elections are administered under the direction of Hall of Fame Committee. Committee chairperson Sharon Asplan and Tom Garrity are among the individuals who helped turn the dream of a Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame into a reality.
Candidates are elected to the Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame through three channels: online voting by fans; consultation with a panel of Cincinnati sportswriters, broadcasters and former players; and by a vote of the Hall of Fame Committee.
To be eligible for consideration for election into the Cincinnati Hockey Hall of Fame, a player, coach, team executive or media member must have made exceptional contributions to the growth and awareness of hockey in Cincinnati.
