The Cincinnati Rollergirls, the area’s first and foremost women’s roller derby team, open their 2010 home schedule at Cincinnati Gardesn tonight, as they prepare for their 5th season of unscripted, competitive and hard-hitting action.

CINCINNATI SILENT LAMBS vs. CIRCLE CITY SOCIALITES (Indanapolis, IN)
Currently ranked 4th of 19 teams in the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association’s North Central region and 17th out of more than 350 teams nationally, the Cincinnati Rollergirls will compete in 5 home bouts in 2010 at the historic Cincinnati Gardens. The Cincinnati Rollergirls’ home opener will take place on Saturday, March 27, 2010 against the San Diego Derby Dolls at 7:00 pm. The remaining dates and opponents for the upcoming season bouts are listed below.
The Cincinnati Rollergirls will again compete with two rosters in 2010: The Black Sheep and the Silent Lambs. The Black Sheep are the Cincinnati Rollergirls’ all-star/travel team, and the Silent Lambs are the reserve/B-team. Both teams will compete in separate bouts at each home date and give spectators an experience unmatched by any other team in town: Parking is free, $1 happy hour beer prices and fans can meet their favorite skaters on the track after each game and at the team’s after-parties.
A variety of affordable ticket packages are now available for the 2010 season, including a limited number of trackside seats. Single-game tickets for adults are $10 for general admission seating and $15 for trackside seating. Tickets for kids 7-12 are just $5 and kids 6 and under are FREE. General admission season ticket packages are $40 for adults and just $20 for kids 7-12. Family and VIP ticket packages are also available.
